Mandisa debuted her powerful voice in 2006 as a top-10 finalist on American Idol, season five. Since then, she has found her place on the top of the Christian and pop charts. She is probably best-known for her Grammy-nominated single and No. 1 hit "Only the World," but she has several other chart-toppers, including " My Deliverer," "He Is With You," and "Not Guilty."

Her latest album, Freedom, released in 2009, has topped the U.S. Christian charts at No. 4.

Mandisa also is working to spread her message of health and beauty. She's worked to lose 80 pounds and is on her way to lose another 100 pounds. Her brave message of battling an addiction to food will inspire others to break their addictions, whatever form they take.
