Join Baptist Health and Michelle Ray, a 5th degree black belt from Little Rock Martial Arts, in this lively class that is open to all who atttend the Arkansas Women's Show, but space is limited. The class will invite participants to learn simple physical self-defense techniques. Ray will discuss situational awareness, what an attacker looks for in choosing a victim and the use of body language and distancing to keep an attack from occurring. To prepare for a healthy future, it is important for all women to take care of their body. Join Jeremy Ray, fitness coordinator at Baptist Health, for a dynamtic discussion and demonstration on safe weight training and flexibility exercises that can be done at home. Ray will provide a proactive approach on essentials of toning up, flexibility and having more energy. This discussion and demonstration is for women of all ages. (Workshop room)
